Unisource Launches uADVANTAGE Paper Procurement Program
Norcross, Georgia-based Unisource Worldwide—a leading distributors of paper, packaging and facility supplies in North America—announced the launch of its uADVANTAGE solution, targeted primarily at the corporate end-user market.
The uADVANTAGE client-managed procurement solution provides corporations with the capabilities to organize and manage total paper volume, create brand standards and partner with paper manufacturers. In addition, the uADVANTAGE solution brings visibility and control to print and paper procurement, a significant cost category, while producing substantial bottom-line savings.
“Our strong partnerships and powerful network of mill relationships provide the broadest possible access for corporate purchasers looking to develop contacts with leading paper manufacturers from around the world,” said Ken Winterhalter, president, sales. “uADVANTAGE combines specialized capabilities for obtaining forms, commercial, financial, and direct mail papers in a seamless and integrated procurement solution with a centralized customer service model. For corporate end-users, this means establishing, maintaining and managing their paper procurement programs have never been easier.”
Unisource’s uADVANTAGE solution will utilize an e-Procurement platform – powered by Cirqit, a leader in Web-based print procurement technology – to automate and control corporate print and paper procurement programs. Unisource and Cirqit have partnered together to develop this new solution for corporations.
In addition to providing the ability to manage the entire print procurement process, the technology powering uADVANTAGE links buyers and suppliers to Unisource, creating a seamlessly integrated workflow. The Unisource-and-Cirqit partnership also offers the only fully automated solution in the corporate market to address the full life cycle of paper within the print sourcing and procurement processes.
Unisource is uniquely positioned to support the requirements of the most demanding client-managed corporate paper procurement programs. With more than 10 million square feet of warehouse space, approximately 85 distribution facilities in the U.S. and Canada, and one of the largest private trucking fleets in the country, Unisource has the capability to service and support the largest corporations.
