Unisource to Sponsor Chicago Paper Show
Unisource Worldwide, Inc., one of the largest privately held companies in the United States, is hosting its annual Unisource Chicago Paper Show on Oct. 4 at the historic Hilton Chicago Hotel, in downtown Chicago.
"Unisource is honored to host our 22nd consecutive Chicago Paper Show," said Glenn Barton, Vice President, Sales - Paper for Unisource. "This unique event sets us apart from our competitors - solidifying our commitment to the graphic arts community and our continued support of the U.S. paper, printing and graphic arts industry."
The Unisource Chicago Paper Show is the largest graphic design event in the country sponsored by a paper distributor. The well-established show - an invitation-only and exclusive event - attracts approximately 1,000 of the leading designers and commercial printers from around the Chicago area, one of the leading graphic arts markets in the U.S. In its 22-year history, the Unisource Chicago show featured an Academy Award winning film, a working letterpress, the latest in paper making technology from leading mills, and the first photographer for Rolling Stone magazine.
"We put together another exciting event for the design and print community, and this year we are garnering the power of social media to create buzz and drive interest for the show," said Andrew Dembitz, Director of Specification for Unisource. "Using the hashtag #22unisourcepapershow - we are tweeting about the strong lineup of featured exhibits and our keynote speaker," he said.
