The U.S. Postal Service has selected MAR, Valmeyer, Ill., as the Shipping/E-commerce Innovation Award winner for the Great Lakes Area. Postmaster General Megan Brennan presented the award to Scott Roever and Rick Roever from MAR at the National Postal Forum in Baltimore.
MAR received the award for a complex project it produced and managed that included U.V. offset print, flexo-print elements, multiple security features, digital imaging, weekly fulfillment and distribution via USPS Priority Mail. Converting the project to Priority Mail distribution allowed the client traceability on every item while still being cost-effective.
“We are honored to be selected for this award,” said Rick Roever, president. “This means a lot to us and our team leader, Brian Coats. Over the life of this project, we have produced, imaged and distributed hundreds of thousands of pieces with no quality or distribution complaints. The client has been extremely satisfied with our performance. This award is a testament to our team and how we make our clients better.”
