Vertis Communications Appoints New Senior VP of Direct Marketing Operations
Vertis Communications, a results-driven marketing communications company that delivers inventive advertising, direct marketing and interactive solutions to prominent brands across North America, announced the appointment of Dave Colatriano as Senior Vice President of Direct Marketing Operations.
In this role, Colatriano will lead the company in delivering the innovative, top-quality print solutions which Vertis is known for, helping the company increase its leadership position in the growing direct marketing industry.
Colatriano is the former Executive Vice President of Operations for Pollard Banknote Limited, an industry-leading lottery ticket provider, where he was responsible for all aspects of the operation - including design and pre-press, engineering, software development, information technology, logistics and manufacturing. He has also served in leadership roles at Fry Communications and Presto Tape, as well as holding prior leadership positions with Vertis.

Today the company also announced that Steve Flood - who was hired in 2008 to advance its innovative digital printing business which is now one of the largest on the East Coast, and formerly held the role of Senior Vice President of Direct Marketing Operations - has been appointed to Senior Vice President of Direct Marketing Sales. Scott Berry, who served as Senior Vice President of Direct Marketing Sales, will be leaving the company sometime in October 2011 to pursue new opportunities.
