Ward/Kraft Purchases High-Speed Printer

The Short-Run division of Ward/Kraft, Fort Scott, Kan., recently added an Indigo 3050 printer to its line-up, which will replace the current E Pro 1000 printer.

The E Pro 1000 prints four-color process on both sides and provides variable imaging at the same time in black. However, the machine's lack of speed and inability to produce high-impact, one-to-one marketing pieces prompted Ward/Kraft to purchase the Indigo 3050. The new machine can print in six colors on both sides at twice the speed of the E Pro 1000, as well as print in full variable color.
