Wise Business Forms Honored as Employer of the Year for National Disability Employment Awareness Month

Wise Business Forms, Alpharetta, Ga., has been awarded Employer of the Year for National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD). The award was presented during DBHDD’s annual Behavioral Health Symposium, which, this year, took place virtually the first week of October.

“This is a very special award, it recognizes the tremendous efforts we put forth to maintain exceptional service and support for individuals in our communities,” said H.T. Smith, general manager of Wise. “While I was honored to be the person who accepted the award, it really belongs to our whole staff because of the compassion and dedication of every single member of our team, of which I am extremely grateful.”

According to DBHDD award criteria, the Employer of the Year Award is bestowed upon the employer that has demonstrated outstanding performance, innovative practices, and significant community impact.

Briggs & Associates nominated Wise as Employer of the Year for National Disability Employment Awareness Month. This nomination was based on the mental and emotional progression of the two team members with disabilities during their more than two years working at Wise.
