Hester Appointed GM of Ennis, Wolfe City

Ennis, Midlothian, Texas, recently named Charles “Chuck” Hester as general manager of the company’s Wolfe City, Texas location. The Wolfe City plant manufactures and sources advertising specialties, tags and labels in support of Ennis’ 40,000-plus distributor base. The previous general manager, Les Roisum, has assumed outside sales responsibilities for Wolfe City, with a focus on growing the company’s 360 degree Custom Labels Line and other core products. Keith S. Walters, chairman, president and CEO of Ennis, Midlothian, Texas, recently announced that the Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of 15-1/2 cents a share on its common stock. Scarborough Joins Ennis’ Corporate Team

In addition, he will retain his previous title as president of Alstyle Apparel. Ennis Acquires Assets Of Block Graphics

Ennis, Midlothian, Texas has entered into a Letter of Intent to acquire substantially all of the assets of Block Graphics, Portland, Ore. Block Graphics is currently owned by an Employee Stock Ownership Program formed 10 years ago to acquire the stock from Bill Block, the original owner. Ennis Acquires Specialized Printed Forms

Ennis, Midlothian, Texas, acquired 100 percent of the stock of Specialized Printed Forms (SPF), a privately held company headquartered in Caledonia, N.Y. The acquisition involves the purchase of all of SPF’s outstanding stock from Robert McAleavey, president, and CEO of SPF, as well as the associated land and buildings from a partnership that leases the facility to SPF. Ennis Announces New Capabilities

Midlothian, Texas-based Ennis added a Drent Vision Press to its Leipsic, Ohio, division of the Ennis Forms Solutions Group. The press is capable of printing up to six-color continuous forms, unit sets and direct mail pieces, as well as 50˝ rolls for large, laser-printed applications. Equipped with UV dryers, it offers superior offset print quality for a wide variety of business documents. The Leipsic division specializes in the printing of cut sheets, continuous forms, unit sets, form/label combinations and other custom forms products.
