Flint Group North America has announced price increases on color and black inks used in conventional newspaper and directory printing.

Due to the continued raw material cost pressure Flint Group has to further increase prices of all packaging and narrow web inks in North America, effective May 1.

In response to new demands in food label and packaging, Flint Group announced the worldwide introduction of a brand new ink series - Flexocure ANCORA.

Flint Group announced significant revisions to its debt facilities, which were successfully concluded with its primary investors on March 7. In summary, these revisions mean that Flint Group can take advantage of a longer period before its debt is due to be repaid and will have considerable additional financial flexibility.

A series of four, one-day seminars on flexo technology will be conducted by Flint Group Flexographic Products to introduce the latest in nyloflex printing plates, rotec sleeves/adapters and Flint Group inks, as well as associated technologies used in flexographic printing. Further to its previous announcement regarding Daniel F McDowell, Flint Group regrets to inform that he will now not be joining Flint Group.

Plymouth, Michigan-based Flint Group North America announced price increases on certain printing inks and pressroom chemistry sold in the United States and Canada. This is in addition to the news ink price increase implemented Jan. 1 and previously announced increases for blankets and sleeves.

Flint Group promoted Mario Busshoff as president, Flint Group Flexographic Products division, effective Jan. 1. 

As part of his expanded role, Busshoff will join Flint Group's Executive Management Team (EMT) and will report directly toAntoine Fady, who has been appointed as CEO of Flint Group, also effective Jan. 1.

Busshoff, currently vice president and general manager of the Flexographic Products division, joined Flint Group through the Day International acquisition in 2007.

Flint Group has appointed Antoine Fady as chief executive officer, effective Jan. 1.

GPA announced the addition of three new members to their sales force: Pete Georgiopoulos, Eliot Rush and Tim Wild, who will be serving as territory sales managers.
