PSDA Congratulates Award Recipients

PSDA, Alexandria, Va., named Brian Coats, sales representative for Mar Graphics, its Member of the Year, and Bill English, CEO of Superior Business Solutions, its President’s Award winner. Both men will be honored at the upcoming Spring Technology Conference on April 30. Coats, a regional director for PSDA, has participated in various PSDA committees and recruited countless new members. He also helps plan association events, and always participates as an event sponsor and exhibitor. Over the last several years, English has assumed leadership roles—both as a past board member and regional director—where he played an integral part in shaping the direction of the association.

MAR Graphics, Valmeyer, Ill., recently purchased a Nipson VaryPress 400 digital production press that will be integrated inline with a Hunkeler Variweb finishing line. The acquisition will allow MAR Graphics to handle increased print volumes and will streamline operations.  The VaryPress / Variweb integrated line will give MAR Graphics the flexibility to print variable data; integrate cards; glue; die cut; fold; and mail in one process. ProForma Adds 500th Distributor — The Cleveland-based ProForma distributor network has added its 500th franchise. ProForma One Stop Marketing, Memphis, Tenn., has been opened by Kurt Wulff, a former sales representative for Moore. Wulff said that the decision to establish the distributorship was based on quality-of-life issues. Wulff chose ProForma because, "It will allow me to have more free time and minimize financial risk."
