Shipman Print Solutions, Niagara Falls, N.Y., installed a new four-color process Perfector EM5000 Jet Offset envelope printing press to substantially expand its envelope printing capabilities.  The Press can print on envelopes converted from uncoated, coated and specialty papers at speeds up to 30,000 per hour. Shipman Print Solutions can now print all color formats, including perfecting, on most sizes of coin, remittance, catalog, booklet and various other commercial envelopes. Featuring the latest in integrated cold UV drying systems technology, the press allows for envelopes to be packaged immediately after printing without any smudge or offset problems.
