Headquartered in Trevose, Pa., the Graphic Arts Association will honor James Moore as its 2008 Neographics Pressperson of the Year at a dinner and award ceremony at the Crystal Tea Room, located in Philadelphia, on May 1. To be considered for this award, eligible candidates must have worked in the industry for at least 10 years, and have a record of accomplishments demonstrating their contributions toward their employer, as well as respect from peers, suppliers and clients. Phoenix-based UnigraphicsUSA, a strategic alliance of regional trade-only printers, announced the addition of Bradley Graphics Solutions, Bensalem, Pa., as a new member. Steven Gaynor, President of UnigraphicsUSA, invited Bradley to join the group to enhance the group’s service offering and expand its national footprint on the East Coast. Bradley Graphic Solutions, Bensalem, Pa., recently installed an additional Didde eight-color web offset press. The highly automated UV press is equipped with 14", 22" and 17" cylinders. The Didde VIP includes a pattern perfing unit, and can run roll-to-roll, roll-to-fold and roll-to-sheet. It has a split stacker, and each unit has more than 800 watts of drying power for high-quality, heavy-coverage cut-sheet and continuous printing, as well as UV jumbo rolls. Englewood, Colorado-based Mail-Well, one of North America's leading providers of visual communications services, recently announced the integration of the capabilities and services of its Bensalem, Pa., envelope plant with its Mail-Well Graphics Philadelphia print plant to create a full-service facility.
