Headquartered in Rochester, N.Y., Document Security Systems, Inc. (DSS), a world leader in the development and manufacturing of products and packaging containing optical deterrent and authentication technologies that help prevent counterfeiting and brand fraud from the use of desktop scanners and copiers, is pleased to announce that it entered into a Distributor Agreement, with Fenton, Missouri-based Masterpiece Graphix, Inc. (MGX), the largest provider of customized pre-coated, print-enhanced substrates for digital printing, to distribute DSS's new line of digital press-compatible AuthentiGuard Security Papers to HP Indigo users and other digital press operators.

Sometimes, less is more—especially with
regard to digital print. The ability to produce shorter runs (quantities below 5,000) is one factor helping to make digital the industry's significant bright spot. Think about it. The economy is still in a recovery phase and companies are now feeling the burn from mistakenly ordering too much last year. Lesson to be learned: if less is ordered, costs will be reduced or eliminated.

Paul R. Edwards, president of the Fenton, Missouri-based FormStore Incorporated, found himself in the printing industry with a little help from a college friend.
