Pitney Bowes Inc. announced it is expanding its international mailing services to help U.S. customers deliver publications around the world.

The Chicago-based Quality Certification Alliance (QCA) has formed a distributor advocacy group that formalizes the relationship the organization has with distributors who understand the value compliance programs have in building stronger relationships with suppliers, creating competitive advantage in the marketplace and building loyalty with their end-buyer clients.

As a leading manufacturer of visual equipment, NEC Technologies, Itasca, Ill., worked with a few hundred distributors and was finding it difficult to meet the needs of all its clients. As a result, NEC decided to divide its clients into two categories—first- and second-tier distributors. The first tier would be comprised of five value-added distributors to whom NEC would sell its products. The second-tier distributors would be smaller clients.
