Hewlett-Packard this month laid off about 100 employees in Omaha, Neb., as part of a corporate restructuring plan announced in May 2012. The workers were notified Nov. 4 and the layoffs were effective immediately.

The workers were part of the firm's Personal and Printing Systems division. The company declined to say what the workers' roles were and would not say how many people HP employs in Omaha. HP said its sole Nebraska location is at 10810 Farnam Drive, in the Old Mill area.

The employees are receiving severance pay.
