RR Donnelley & Sons Company, Chicago, and Esselte, Stamford, Conn., have signed a definitive agreement by which R.R. Donnelley will acquire substantially all of the North American operations of Esselte, a privately owned developer and manufacturer of nationally branded and private label office and stationery products.

Publishers Communication Group (PCG), opened an office in New Delhi, India. PCG, a division of Publishing Technology plc (LSE: PTO), the largest provider of software and services to the publishing industry, will be offering sales and marketing activities targeting the ever-growing academic readership in India to US and European scholarly publishers.
