Printegra, Peachtree City, Ga., recently launched its new label division, Synergy Label, a Printegra Company, formerly "Printegra Label and Design," at the Print Solutions Conference and Expo, in Sept. Of the name change, Steve Porter, Synergy's general manager, said, "In a survey sent out to our customers, many of them indicated that when they think of Printegra, they think of short-run business documents," he explained. "Distributors often forget that we have a label division because our name is synonymous with business documents. Printegra, Peachtree City, Ga., and its employees recently held a nationwide fundraising campaign to benefit victims of Hurricane Katrina. The company matched employee contributions, thereby raising more than $20,000 for donation to the American Red Cross.  Casey Campbell, president and CEO, said in a statement to employees,"We have all been moved by the terrible events that have taken place on the Gulf Coast. Printegra, Peachtree City, Ga., recently acquired National Imprint Corporation (NIC), a manufacturer of envelopes and stationery products based in Deer Park, N.Y. NIC operates three manufacturing facilities in Pennsylvania, Illinois and South Carolina with more than 150 employees and revenues greater than $20 million last year. Casey Campbell, Printegra's president and CEO, said, "The acquisition of NIC further increases the value proposition that we offer our customers. Our vision is to provide customers with a national source for short-run business documents in a friendly and reliable business manner." Printegra, Peachtree City, Ga., recently announced the installation of ANSI Certified RDM Image Qualifiers nationwide. The equipment was installed to assist Printegra's customers in complying with Check 21, the recently enacted Check-clearing Act for the 21st Century legislation. The RDM Check 21 testing equipment is available at all nine of Printegra's national check-manufacturing facilities, and can perform testing (at no charge) on new or repeat jobs to ensure Check 21 compliance. In addition, Printegra's FormSource and FormSource Limited Software Compatible checks, ODT VOID pantographs and Copy Alert Security Paper, have also been re-designed and are Check 21 compliant.
