Ward/Kraft, Ft. Scott, Kan., introduced the new Build-A-Label program focusing on short-runs of blown-on or piggy-back label applications. As a result of this new program, distributors will no longer need to face ordering large quantities to meet material minimums.

Headquartered in Ft. Scott, Kan., Ward/Kraft has released its initial offering of stock labels for 2009. The offering includes the largest selection ever of labels ready to ship within 24 hours.

Headquartered in Midlothian, Texas, Ennis has promoted Mark Boore to the position of general manager of its Ft. Scott, Kan. facility. In 1998, Boore joined Ennis as a press operator and quickly was promoted to plant superintendent. He previously worked as a press operator for 15 years at FMI in Girard, Kan.

Headquartered in Ft. Scott, Kan., Ward/Kraft has appointed Shawn Goans to the position of sales representative for the Creative Technology Center. Goans, who has more than 16 years of sales experience with innovative, technology-driven products, returns to Ward/Kraft after nine years with other firms where he sharpened his innovative product selling skills.

Headquartered in Ft. Scott, Kan., Ward/Kraft has appointed Chris Smith to the position of sales representative for the company’s label division. Smith previously held positions in customer service, sales and production with both Ward/Kraft, Sony and International Paper. While working for Sony, Smith was named “Top Sales Performer” for 10 consecutive months.
