Plastag Holdings, Elk Grove Village, Ill., recently purchased select personalization and fulfillment assets of Barry Fiala. According to company officials, with Plastag's background in supplying the card component of retail packaging, the acquisition will better position Plastag to supply solutions to companies servicing the retail and promotional markets. As part of the acquisition, Plastag has been given a license to manufacture, use, sell and offer to sell point-of-sale activated products, covered by claims of United States Patent No. 5,918,909.
