Signs of spring are blooming everywhere: incessant sneezing, killer pollen and, yes, pretty flowers. It’s hard to remember the grey skies and pesky clipper storms that haunted our region for months.

“Adapt or go home.” “Regroup and reevaluate your business strategy.” “Explore new technology.” After years of touting the benefits of change, we decided to follow our own advice.

A few weeks ago, I attended the National Postal Forum at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel, located in Nashville, Tenn. The traffic was steady and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Companies unveiled new technology in hopes of altering the direct mail landscape.

Today's “To Do” list included contacting companies for their booth information for the upcoming Print Solutions Conference & Exposition. Once again, Print Professional will be exhibiting at the big show and our staff can't wait to see everyone.

Google had to remind me. Yesterday, the barcode celebrated its 57th anniversary.
