The year may be young, but the media has been busy keeping print suppliers and distributors abreast of major developing issues.

The members of Strategic Print Alliance have unanimously re-elected their executive team to an additional two-year term at their annual meeting in Atlanta on March 2.

In 2002, six suppliers joined forces to establish UnigraphicsUSA. Over time, the membership evolved and in 2008, the group changed its organizational structure, rebranded and formed the Strategic Print Alliance (SPA). Today, six member companies—with 10 plants coast-to-coast—remain aligned by friendship and the business philosophy, "Independent strength. United power."

The Strategic Print Alliance (formerly UnigraphicsUSA), hired David Batson to fill the position of executive director. Batson began his career with Moore Business Forms in 1978. In 1986, he joined OEI Business Products, where he served as VP of sales prior to the company’s acquisition by WorkflowOne in 2000.
