Think of Rick Heinl, president of Tipp City, Ohio-based Repacorp, as a kinder, gentler daddy dearest type.

Tipp City, Ohio-based Repacorp was recently honored with the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) Golden Image (including Adré Schellenberg) award for the Neil Young Diary in the loose-leaf products category.

Tony Heinl, vice president of Tipp City, Ohio-based Repacorp, found his way into the printing business with a little help from his brother.

"Repacorp's account executive in Columbus, Ohio quit about the time I graduated from Ohio State," Heinl explained. "My brother, Rick Heinl, owned Repacorp and offered me the sales position in Columbus."

With labels, the only thing that isn't changing is their widespread use. When asked about anything new or different within the past year regarding their label operations, manufacturers had a lot to say. John Shanley, president of Labels West, Woodinville, Wash., talked about greatly decreased order sizes, yet greatly increased order activity, and how the demands for consistently high-quality labels and extremely rapid turnarounds are necessitating digital technology.
