Is It Worth It to Upgrade to QuickBooks Premier 2022?

Question: I have QB Premier 2021. I keep seeing pop-ups to upgrade to Premier 2022. Should I do that?

Answer: No! If you have QB Premier 2019, 2020 or 2021 acquired with a one-time payment, you will receive updates from QB at no additional charge for three years. For QB Premier 2019, you will receive updates through May 2022. For Premier 2020, you will receive updates through May 2023, and for Premier 2021, updates will be provided through May 2024.

If you are in a QB Premier one-time purchase product, there is no need to upgrade while you are still receiving updates at no additional cost.

But, beginning in 2022, QB will be offering Premier on a subscription basis only.

Your one-time payment versions will be supported as per the dates above and are 100% reliable. Stick with them. There is no reason to go to the subscription version until you must do so.
