Question: In QuickBooks Premier, there is a capital “T” next to some items on my invoices. What does this mean?
Answer: On your invoices, the capital “T” appears next to line items that are subject to sales tax. The appearance of this “T” is a controllable setting.
Go to: Edit > Preferences > Sales Tax and indicate your preference to the command entitled “Identify taxable amounts as “T” for “Taxable” when printing.”
Check the box if you want the “T’s” to print. Uncheck the box if you do not.
