R. Stanton Avery

 Avery Dennison Corporation marked its 75th anniversary as a company by having chairman, president and CEO Dean A. Scarborough and the company's leadership team ring the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange.

Calvin Frost, CEO of the Channeled Resources Group, Chicago, was the winner of the R. Stanton Avery Lifetime Achievement Award. Frost is regarded as the leading international champion of recycling and environmental awareness in the label industry, devoting most of his working life and career to salvaging PSA waste and turning it into useful materials by making pressure-sensitive products more environmentally friendly. He continues to channel cost-effective and environmentally-responsible solutions to global label converters and industry suppliers. Frost is currently Chair of the Tag and Label Manufacturers Institute (TLMI) Environmental Committee, and has been a regular speaker and chairman at TLMI, FINAT, Labelexpo, AWA and Adhesive
