3 Wins for Independent Folders at Proforma Convention

Independent Folders, De Pere, Wis., was recently recognized at the annual Proforma Convention in Orlando, Fla.

The Proforma Convention is the largest private gathering of suppliers in the printing industry, where major producers from throughout the country convene in order to network, explore the latest products and services and take part in over 90 educational workshops.

“Attending the convention on behalf of Independent Folders was incredibly rewarding because it gave me the opportunity to promote the company to more than 450 Proforma owners and sales representatives,” Jim Fairbairn, business development manager for Independent Folders, said.

In addition to the convention itself, each year the Proforma owners vote on the top vendor suppliers in each of the following categories: Printing, Packaging Solutions, Promotional Products, Additional Services and Apparel. Once the leading suppliers have been selected, they are then ranked as either gold, silver or bronze.

This year, during the awards and recognition dinner held July 25, Independent Folders won three awards: the Gold Award in the Packaging Solutions category, the Bronze Award in the Printing category and the Centurion Award for growing more than $100,000 in sales with Proforma in a year.
