Dover, New Hampshire-based Formax has introduced the new 7100 Series, high-volume inserters with a modular design to accommodate mailing applications of all sizes. The 7100 Series processes up to 4,500 envelopes per hour and up to 150,000 finished pieces per month. With the flexibility to add up to nine feed stations, the modular design supports a wide range of mailing applications, various envelope sizes and documents with top, middle and bottom address positions.
Three base models are available to use as is or can be expanded to meet changing needs: the FD 7100-Basic 1 with one sheet feeder and daily mail, the FD 7100-Basic 3 with three sheet feeders and daily mail and the FD 7100-Advanced 2 with a double insert feeder. The daily mail mode allows users to fold and insert stapled sets of up to eight sheets. Standard features include automatic job set-up, 20 programmable jobs, and the capacity to handle mailing packets up to ¼” in thickness. These features and flexibility enable the 7100 Series to accommodate virtually all of a company’s mailing needs now and in the future.
Options include optical mark recognition and barcode recognition to enhance document processing security, as well as an envelope output conveyor and specially designed cabinet stands.
