Michael was survived by his mother, Anne Laura Toney of West Salem, Ohio; his wife, Dolores; son, Jonathan of Yorba Linda, Calif.; daughter, Jennifer Toney Beck, son-in-law, Luke Beck and granddaughters, Kensington Reign Beck and Mackinleigh Grace Beck of Irvine, Calif.; along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Devoting more than 30 years to the print business, Michael stayed with Ennis as a regional sales manager until November 2016. He was particularly known for his cheerful attitude and positive outlook on life, always bringing a kind word to everyone he encountered.
“Michael was the type of salesperson that would go out of his way to help all of his customers, which, to him, were really his friends,” said Terry Pennington, vice president of sales for Ennis. “The entire Ennis family extends their heartfelt condolences and sympathies to Michael’s family, friends and co-workers.”
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, March 11 at COR Church, 45 Tesla, Irvine, CA 92618 at 10:00 am. Reverend Mark Whitlock will officiate the ceremony.
