Newton Manufacturing Company filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Des Moines, Iowa on May 31, 2015. HALO Branded Solutions provided debtor-in-possession financing to Newton Manufacturing Company to fund the Chapter 11 proceeding.

Standard Register Co., Dayton, Ohio, is suing two long-time, former sales employees for launching a similar company called Focus Impressions Inc., located in the Boston area.

Neenah Paper, Neenah, Wis., announced that its selection of colored, pearlized and textured papers, The Design Collection, has been expanded to include four new premium paper grades from Italian papermaker Gruppo Cordenons.
