Kodak Reports 17 Percent Decrease in Revenues

Eastman Kodak Company reported steady progress toward becoming a profitable and sustainable digital company as third-quarter digital earnings improved, excluding non-recurring patent licensing revenue in the prior-year period, and sales increased in its core digital growth businesses. Total company revenue declined largely because of lower sales of traditional products, a planned reduction in digital camera sales, and the absence, compared to the year-ago period, of significant non-recurring patent licensing revenue.

Collins Ink Terminates Kodak Supply Agreement

Cincinatti-based Collins Ink Corporation has terminated the supply agreement with Kodak (formerly Scitex) that has been in place for the past 10 years. Effective immediately, customers with high-speed Kodak Versamark printers can purchase their fluids directly from Collins Ink at recently announced prices. Collins will continue to offer inks for all models of Kodak Versamark CIJ inkjet printers and continue to offer a range of both standard and custom inks.

Moody's Lowers Eastman Kodak Ratings

Moody's Investors Service lowered all ratings of Eastman Kodak Company, including: the corporate family and probability of default to Caa2 from Caa1, the senior unsecured to Caa3 from Caa2, the senior secured to B3 from B1 and the Speculative Grade Liquidity rating to SGL-3 frm SGL-2. The outlook remains negative.

Rochester, New York-based Kodak's Security Solutions Group will attend the IQPC Anti-Counterfeiting for Pharma & Medical Devices seminar at The Chemical Heritage Foundation Conference Center in Philadelphia, May 31 through June 2. Kodak's participation includes a technology demonstration of its brand protection capabilities for pharmaceutical labeling, packaging and medical devices. Conference attendees include pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, law enforcement officials, government agencies and industry organizations.
