Asia Pulp & Paper Welcomed into the National Restaurant Association
Asia Pulp and Paper (APP) has joined the National Restaurant Association, the world's largest food-service trade association by membership-supporting nearly 500,000 restaurant businesses. The association's mission is to help its members build customer loyalty, rewarding careers and financial success. APP has joined the National Restaurant Association to engage in critical discussion to help APP continuously enhance its sustainable paper and packaging solutions in response to changing food service industry needs and shifting consumer demands.
"We are proud to join the National Restaurant Association, an organization that is passionate about representing restaurateurs and the more than 13 million people they collectively employ," said Ian Lifshitz, APP sustainability and public outreach director for the Americas. "We are looking forward to engaging and collaborating with the association's members, many of whom are valued customers, to continuously improve the sustainable paper and packaging solutions they require for their consumers."
"We are excited to have APP join our list of members, and look forward to continuing the conversation on how we can work together to support restaurant owners with their paper, tissue and packaging needs," said Phil Kafarakis, chief innovation and member advancement officer for the National Restaurant Association. "The restaurant industry is integral to the daily lives of millions of Americans pursuing careers in food service. Having a global leader like Asia Pulp and Paper join our organization helps us continue promoting entrepreneurship and hospitality opportunities."
APP will be onsite at the National Restaurant Association's annual convention, held in Chicago from May 17-20 at McCormick Place.
