While the tag can be configured in a variety of ways, the initial product includes three matching, barcoded tags that are divided with perforations. They are being used by a meat packing firm to identify areas that are to be processed on the carcass. Each three-piece set has one similar barcode and are consecutively numbered. The tags are attached as a set to the food and can be easily removed during processing.
