Bernadette Print Group Acquires Jet Envelope

Headquartered in Hazelwood, Mo., Bernadette Print Group acquired St. Louis-based Jet Envelope effective April 27. Direct mail printing is one of Bernadette Print Group’s specialties, and with the addition of envelope printing capabilities, the company is better able to provide a complete service to its customers.

Since 1984, Jet Envelope has been producing high-quality, economically priced printed envelopes and letterhead for the trade only. Its product line includes all sizes of commercial envelopes, in run sizes ranging from 1,000 to more than one million pieces. Jet Envelope is currently in the process of relocating its operation—including eight presses and its customer service team—to Bernadette Print Group’s facilities.

Rick Niehaus, marketing director for Bernadette Print Group, said the company is excited about having the enhanced service offerings all under one roof, which also makes for more efficient turnaround times. “If distributors bring in a direct mail campaign, we can now print not only the documents, but handle their envelope needs, as well. Space had already been cleared out and prepared, and we expect the presses to be set up by end of July,” he said.

Niehaus went on to say this will be a seamless move, with phone and fax numbers remaining unchanged for those trying to reach Jet Envelope, and Bernadette Print Group customers can start benefitting from the acquisition immediately.
