Continental Datalabel Expands Wafer Seal Line to Meet Postal Regulations
Elgin, Illinois-based Continental Datalabel (CDL) has expanded its line of oversized wafer seals to include 28 new products, including the 1½" seals mandated by the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) to tab booklets. The expanded line also includes labels in various sizes in rolls of various sizes to meet the needs of customers, both large and small.
In September, the USPS mandated that tabs on booklets be at least 1½" in width. To meet this need, CDL introduced 1½" and 2" wafer seals, available in either white or translucent material. The 1½" seals are available on rolls in quantities of 4,000, 10,000, 20,000 and 35,000 to satisfy needs of customers with small or large equipment. The company also added 1-1/4" seals to the line.
Additional roll sizes for 1" and 15/16" seals also are available. One-inch seals are offered in rolls of 5,000, 10,000, 20,000, 30,000 and 40,000, while 15/16" seals are available in rolls of 5,000, 10,000, 20,000 and 40,000.
