Graphics of the Americas 2008, being held Feb. 27 to March 1 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, has announced the debut of the Design for Personalized Communication Conference, led by noted industry consultant and analyst Steven Schnoll. The full-day conference will feature sessions on removing the variable selling barriers; review of technology tools; building the right business model; strategic and tactical design considerations; creating a variable sales and marketing plan; and managing the additional value-added services required for personalized promotional campaigns.
“The combination of current applications and emerging technology has the potential to create tremendous revenue opportunities for savvy graphic communication companies,” said George Ryan, president and CEO of the Printing Association of Florida and event organizer for Graphics of the Americas. “The Design for Personalized Communications Conference will explore these opportunities, providing attendees with a rewarding educational experience, as well as guidance for growing their businesses.”
Steven Schnoll, managing director of Schnoll Media Consulting (SMC), helps organizations understand the emerging ideas, trends and technologies that are changing the face of the new information age. SMC assists organizations on launching successful relevant marketing campaigns.
The Design for Personalized Communications Conference is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 29, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Pricing for the conference will be $395 for the full day conference or ala carte at $75 per session. The conference is intended for advertising agency staff, marketing specialists, graphic designers, digital printing professionals, printers and pre-press technicians.
