Docunet Receives Certification
Docunet Corporation, a digital printing firm, has received the ISO 9001:2008 certification, which offers organizations an internationally recognized model for operating a quality management system enhancing their ability to deliver consistent quality.
"Docunet's core business is print production for the highly regulated medical device industry. This niche requires us to have documented and reliable standards in place throughout our service, procurement and production areas," said Docunet President, Wendy Morical. "Our company is focused on providing 100 percent quality on every job. Quality is the responsibility of every member of Docunet's staff."
ISO 9001 certification also supports Docunet's training and corrective action programs, reinforcing the proactive vs. reactive approach to quality management.
"Our quality management system provides us with corporate discipline and ensures that all parts of our organization communicate effectively to meet customer requirements," said Morical.
ISO 9001 standards are developed by the International Organization for Standardization, a worldwide federation of national standards bodies, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. The organization was founded in 1946 to develop a common set of standards for manufacturing, trade and communications. Docunet's assessment and certification was conducted by IMSM, International Management Systems, Wiltshire, England.
