Ennis-Wolfe City Adds New Capabilities

The Wolfe City, Texas-based facility of Ennis, Midlothian, Texas, recently doubled its 17" dual web capacity with the installation of an additional dual web flexo press. The press is expected to substantially shorten delivery times for form/label combinations.

The new press will handle material from 20 lb. bond to 20 pt. tag stock and accepts ion deposition and ink-jet variable imaging systems. Delivery is available in roll, sheet or fanfold configurations.

In addition, Ennis—Wolfe City has added a five-color, 7.5" web press, ideal for printing narrow width, four-color process labels and tags with UV varnish. The press is compliant with both ion deposition and ink-jet variable imaging systems.

Additionally, the facility now offers cold foil-imaged products with the look of a hot foil-stamp and the cost efficiency of conventional flexo printing. The facility has also gained experience in the production of cohesive, adhesive baggage tags for a variety of hotels and resorts.
