Harper Sponsors Conference

Global anilox supplier Harper Corporation, a leader in laser engraved cermaic cylinders for gravure coaters, will be well represented when the Packaging & Label Gravure Association Global sponsors its biennial Technical Conference in September.

Tony Donato, product development engineer at Harper, will deliver brief remarks and take part in a panel discussion involving other image carriers.

Its XDI gravure imaged cylinder is ideal for gravure product and cold seal applications. Donato will discuss where laser engraved ceramic cylinders are applicable and how to utilize and operate a ceramic cylinder.

The Omni Charlotte Hotel will host the conference; a special room rate for attendees ends Monday.

With its "The Gravure Advantage" theme, the event has scheduled five in-depth technical sessions. In addition to the moderated discussions, attendees can visit table top exhibitions and nightly receptions.

Other sessions will focus on the relationship between gravure and digital ink jet technologies, web inspection techniques and detailed analysis of gravure trends in North America and Europe moderated by the Flint Group's Paul Lodewyck.
