Hopkins Owner Announces Semi-Retirement
Jim Hopkins, of Hopkins Printing, announced his semi-retirement this week.
Jim started his first print shop in his garage more than 35 years ago with a $2000 bank loan and $1000 from his mother. J & A Printing grew into Hop-To Printing. Hop-To Printing grew into J.F. Hopkins & Associates. J.F. Hopkins & Associates became what we are today, Hopkins Printing.
Jim has received many honors over the years including being inducted into the Printing Impressions/RIT Printing Industry Hall of Fame, being named one of Columbus Ohio's 10 Best CEOs by the Columbus C.E.O. Magazine, being inducted into the Junior Achievement Central Ohio Business Hall of Fame, being named Craftsman of the Year by the Columbus Club of Printing House Craftsmen and he was awarded the Franklinton Award by the Printing Industries of Ohio and Northern Kentucky.
Hopkins also announced that Roy Waterhouse will become president and Vicky Tilton will become COO. Jim will remain CEO and will continue to help guide Roy, Vicky and the entire management team as we continue to grow and improve as a successful company.
