Label Impressions Inc., Orange, Calif., has increased its booklet label production capacity with the addition of a custom built Nilpeter 13" dual web added content press with glue system, dual web and overhead tower designed to dramatically reduce setup and run times for coupon labels, folded booklet labels and expanded content labels (ECL's).
"Several trends have led to a skyrocketing demand for extended text labeling. A slower economy boosted coupon label usage and redemption and stimulated retail brands to utilize more on pack coupon labels to increase retail sales. Increased FDA regulations and regulatory guidelines for personal care agriculture and food labeling as well as a trend toward foreign sales of personal care products has increased demand for additional content added to labels on ever shrinking package sizes," said Jeff Salisbury, president. "This is where the booklet label or extended text label comes in, and Label Impressions is well qualified to meet these markets."
With dual webs complete with Fife web guides, servo tension system, overhead bridge and a film package, the new Nilpeter press allows Label Impressions to better serve the market for coupon, booklet and expanded content labels via faster setup and lead times and lower costs.
