Mohawk Launches Studio Collection
On the heels of Hewlett-Packard's announcement of its new HP Electroink White, the industry's first white ink for sheet-fed digital presses, Mohawk has launched its Mohawk Studio Collection.
As an HP preferred media partner, Mohawk worked with HP to develop this new collection of white- ink-compatible i-Tone papers formulated for HP Indigo digital presses.
"This is one of the most exciting things to happen to the digital printing
industry - for designers and printers alike. This new white ink technology
allows for creative possibilities that didn't exist until now. Designers now
have the option to explore the use of white type and images on dark backgrounds, or to print full-color images brilliantly on deeply colored stocks with the use of an HP Electroink printing base," said Chris Harrold, Vice President of Market Development, Emerging Technologies.
Mohawk Studio Collection is a customized collection of colored papers comprised of a variety of Mohawk grades that are engineered for HP Indigo digital printing.
There are 23 colors from the Beckett Concept, Beckett Expression,
Mohawk Carnival, Mohawk Loop and Mohawk Via product lines available vellum, smooth and super smooth finishes.
New Mohawk Studio Collection provides a full array of hues and weights from 80 text to 120 double thick cover, specifically formulated for optimum HP
Electroink adhesion and runnability making it perfect for invitations,
packaging, dark covers, greeting cards, and point of purchase applications, and any project meant to stand out.
