Norcross, Georgia-based Unisource Worldwide, Inc., has partnered with the Lakeshore Foundation—an official U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Site located in Birmingham, Ala.—to showcase paralympic athletes.
“A few Unisource team members made the three-hour trek from Unisource’s headquarters outside of Atlanta to the Lakeshore Foundation, and had the chance to meet some of these incredible Paralympic athletes. To them, they are just ordinary people doing ordinary things,” said Ed Farley, senior vice president of marketing and communications for Unisource. “But to us, they are extraordinary athletes accomplishing extraordinary feats of courage.”
The partnership includes the production of a brochure featuring Unisource’s Starbrite Opaque paper—a favorite of designers and printers. The publication was deemed the perfect vehicle to help share the stories of the paralympic athletes who train at the Lakeshore Foundation and who are stars in their own right. As readers turn each page of the high impact, creatively designed brochure, they will explore the journeys of athletes with undeniable winning attitudes who, each day, overcome some of life’s most difficult obstacles.
And with the introduction of the new Starbrite Opaque brochure, Unisource also hopes to inspire others to join in and support this noteworthy cause.
