New RFID-Ready Thermal Printer from Toshiba

Toshiba TEC America, Atlanta, Ga., has announced that the Toshiba B-SA4 range of thermal printers is the ideal solution for any printer application.

"The Toshiba B-SA4 will soon gain the reputation as the 'total printer solution', providing the end-user with both compact design and robust performance," said William Hosken, president. The B-SA4 offers high-quality output, industrial performance, versatile design, an entire Central Network Management Suite and RFID-ready capability. The ergonomic design and ease of maintenance will also provide a lower cost of ownership over the life of the printer.

The Toshiba B-SA4 is available with either metal or plastic case enclosure and supports a print resolution of 203 to 300 dpi, and a 600 dpi model is planned for early next year. Standard interfaces include high-speed USB, LAN (10/100 Base), and bi-directional parallel. Optional accessories include cutter, value peel, serial keyboard interface, wireless LAN interface and an RFID module upgrade kit. In addition, the Toshiba B-SA4 has the latest backward compatibility technology.
