Polyconcept North America Acquires HumphreyLine
Pittsburgh-based Polyconcept North America (PCNA) announced its acquisition of HumphreyLine, a USA-made manufacturer based in Milwaukie, Ore.
“Over the past six years we’ve discussed with HumphreyLine’s owner, Mel Ellis, a variety of ways of working together,” said Jim Epstein, chief development officer of PCNA. “Earlier this year, the acquisition potential arose and together we moved quickly to close a deal. This aligned well with PCNA’s heightened interest in adding additional companies to our group through a stepped-up acquisition program.”
PCNA now will offer HumphreyLine's full line of USA-made plastic and personal care promotional products, such as hand sanitizers, lip balms, insect repellents, sunscreen, stadium cups, sand pails and toothbrushes. Additionally, PCNA will add new decorating capabilities, including full-color labeling, offset printing, as well as variable data capabilities.

HumphreyLine will maintain its current website, processing and service system through 2014. In January, HumphreyLine's products will be offered through Bullet, Hialeah, Fla. Orders will continue to be manufactured, produced and fulfilled out of HumphreyLine's Kentucky facility, which boasts exceptional inventory reliability and an industry record of shipping more than 99 percent of its orders complete and on time for the past 20 years.
