Polyconcept Realigns Sales Organization
Polyconcept North America announced that Craig Morantz, after seven years as vice president of sales, will be retiring from the promotional products industry to pursue new personal and business interests, effective Jan. 31.
Morantz joined the Leed’s team when it acquired his company Aware Marketing Group, a Canadian supplier that went to market under the Icon brand name. His contributions to the sales organization have been integral in the growth and success at PCNA.
“Craig has been a key member of the PCNA team since he joined us in 2004. He was instrumental in building our industry-leading sales team and driving several key initiatives that remain critical elements of our market strategy,” explained David Nicholson, president of Polyconcept North America. “Craig is a true innovator and entrepreneur, and his perspective will not be easily replaced within the PCNA organization. We certainly wish him all the best as he pursues his next venture.”
With Morantz’s retirement comes an opportunity to realign the PCNA sales organization, and we are pleased to announce the promotion of David Grobisen to vice president of sales and Erin Harris to national sales manager for Canada.
Grobisen joined Leed’s in 2005 as national sales manager for the Western United States and was promoted to director of sales for Polyconcept North America in 2009. Throughout his tenure with PCNA, Grobisen has proven his strong leadership within the sales organization and has been an important advocate for our distributors. Many of his contributions have led to new services benefiting our customer base as well as each PCNA company. Grobisen will assume responsibility for the PCNA sales organization effective Nov. 1 and will work closely with Morantz during the transition period.
“David has demonstrated a true passion for our business, and his confidence and leadership style have had a positive impact on our entire organization. We look forward to David’s greater influence on our growth in his new role,” stated Nicholson.
Harris, who started with Aware Marketing Group in 1999 and has been a part of the PCNA sales organization since 2004, will assume responsibility for all Canadian sales functions for Leed’s, Bullet and JournalBooks. Effective Jan. 1, all Canadian field sales managers and business development representatives will report to her.
“Erin’s progression from field sales to regional sales management over the last several years has proven her ability to both manage the business and to lead a sales team. We are excited to have her assume this new role in the organization,” stated Jeff Brown, chief marketing officer. Harris will now report to David Grobisen.
Rounding out the PCNA sales management team are Scott Anderson, national sales manager, and Steve Gelernter, regional sales manager North East. Both Anderson and Gelernter will report to David Grobisen.
