Rysgaard Retires from ECRM
Tewksbury, Massachusetts-based ECRM announced the retirement of Torben Rysgaard. He has been the vice president of the ECRM Polyester CTP Division since May 2006.
Rysgaard, a 26-year veteran of the graphic arts industry, had been closely linked with Esko Graphics’ international success from 1983 until the ECRM acquisition in 2006. During his tenure, he held positions of increasing responsibility in sales and marketing management and had extensive success in developing and growing critical OEM business in the graphic arts marketplace.
With Rysgaard’s retirement, ECRM will shift senior management responsibilities of the Polyester division to the ECRM headquarters. ECRM’s vice president of sales and marketing, Doug Barr, has assumed responsibility of overseeing the management of the Polyester CTP business. He also remains responsible for the ECRM Violet CTP and associated products.
“Torben joined ECRM at the time of the ECRM acquisition of the Polyester Division of ESKO Graphics in 2005, and was named vice president, Polyester CTP Division in May of 2006,” noted ECRM president and CEO Rick Black. “He came to our company with 23 years of service with Esko Graphics. Torben has played an integral leadership role in the successful integration of this business unit into the ECRM organization. We wish to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to Torben for his contribution and dedication to ECRM.
