Standard Register Acquires Dialog Medical

Standard Register has completed the transaction to acquire Dialog Medical, the leader in solutions for managing the patient informed consent process.
Standard Register now has a 100 percent ownership interest in Dialog Medical, which will be operated as a wholly-owned subsidiary, reporting through Standard Register Healthcare, a business unit of Standard Register.

Standard Register Healthcare's President Brad Cates characterizes the acquisition as a strong strategic fit. Both companies have established leadership positions in healthcare, seeking to positively impact patient education and safety, and organizational efficiency. Standard Register Healthcare provides services and technology for patient identification and verification, patient safety and streamlining workflows for more than 3,000 clients including 62 percent of U.S. hospitals. Atlanta-based Dialog Medical is the recognized leader in standardizing, automating and documenting the informed consent process for over 200 hospitals and approximately 15,000 physicians.

Standard Register Healthcare and Dialog Medical will continue to serve their respective customers as well as go to market with a combined portfolio of products and services. Dialog Medical, which employs 30 people, will continue to operate from its office in Atlanta, reporting to Brad Cates.
