Tapecon Purchases Indigo WS-2000 Press
Tapecon Inc., Buffalo, N.Y., has recently purchased an Indigo WS-2000 Digital Offset Web Press.
This new press will increase Tapecon's production capabilities and, according to a press release, will make it the first manufacturer of digital offset web printing in the region.
"Some may not understand the enormous advantages of digital printing," Tapecon's President Alan Davis said in a January press release. "But, consider the savings in time and material when we can print products direct from computer to substrate with no printing plates or screens, no setups, no cleanups and no waste."
With 125 employees and over 600 clients, Tapecon offers an array of print technologies, such as screen, flexography, UV flexography, rotary letterpress, rotary screen, and digital print processes.
