Headquartered in Eden Prairie, Minn., Four51, Inc. has launched Insights Four51, a community blog to educate the company’s growing customer base that also serves as a platform for user feedback, including best practices. Besides existing customers, IT professionals, purchasing agents, supply chain managers and printing executives will also find the blog useful.
“Based on the success of our podcasts and Webinars, launching a community blog was a natural extension of our outbound marketing efforts,” said Liz Bogut, Four51’s manager of marketing and client growth.
Blogs or Web Logs belong in a category of communication referred to as “social media,” a term used to define electronic-based communications that encourage contributions and open feedback from everyone who is interested in a particular topic. Social media can also include social networks, content communities and podcasts. It is estimated that more than 50 million blogs exist today, and the number is doubling every six months.
Insights Four51 will feature a number of topic categories, including technology; application services; sales; and marketing, as well as a CEO corner and a forum for the networks and solutions groups. It is open to the industry at large, and contributors from the print provider, supplier and distributor communities and the media are encouraged to participate.
