The Daily Sentinel Upgrades its Inserter
The Daily Sentinel recently upgraded its SLS-1000 inserter with the WinLincs XP Packaging Line Control System.
WinLincs XP allows the newspaper's mailroom to handle highly sophisticated production plans in order to ensure the reliable delivery of a variety of marketing inserts.
The WinLincs XP upgrade provides the most advanced and sophisticated inserter control, communication and data management tool to each of its users - be it the operator, the maintenance technician or the data analyst. Its intuitive, innovative design structure makes it easy to manage and organize the distribution accuracy of a single packaging line.
Bud Winslow, operations director, said "the WinLincs XP upgrade provides the potential for greater reporting functionality for our advertising department. And, considering that inserting revenues continue to be a growing part of our business, these reports are invaluable."
The WinLincs XP Packaging Line Control System Upgrade is available as a retrofit for the following Muller Martini inserters: SLS1000 and SLS2000 series high-speed inserters. Many other inserting machines will also benefit from the WinLincs XP platform such as the 13/72, 14/72, 22/99, 630, 632 and other comparable inserting equipment.
