Nuts & Bolts

If it weren’t for labels, you couldn’t tell a jar of mild salsa from a blow-your-head off-hot variety until it was too late. And, if there was no hang tag to alert a maintenance worker that a malfunctioning valve is on lock out, there could be serious consequences. From eye-catching prime labels to super-durable industrial applications, labels and tags readily adapt to evolving technology and emerging applications, and will remain viable, profitable products well into the future. Some of the most successful label and tag suppliers are those with unique manufacturing capabilities resulting in innovative, value-added products that set them apart from the

The Key to Success
February 1, 2008

The first priority of advertising is establishing need. Even product lines offering unlimited market potential and movement require a little push to maintain sales quotas. The good news is, the function of some products enables them to sneak their way into virtually any market. Form/label combinations, for instance, can be sold to almost every business sector. And, while traditional forms business has hit a plateau in recent years, form/label combinations still indicate room for product growth. Any business with high-volume shipping; any company dealing heavily in consistent consumer response or one requiring the services of a two-in-one product can be targeted to expand form/label

Continental Datalabel Introduces Fastply
September 25, 2007

Using labels is easier than ever with new Fastply labels from Elgin, Illinois-based Continental Datalabel. Vertical slits between columns allow the user to separate the strips of labels, exposing the ends for easy peeling. Fastply makes it easy to peel labels correctly from the liner to ensure superior adhesion. Fastply is also the answer for those who feel left-handed in a right-handed world. The new design allows end-users to peel labels from the side they choose, no matter which hand they favor. The idea behind Fastply is so innovative, Continental Datalabel already has two U.S. patents on the product, with additional patents pending.

A Smarter Future For Labels
